Hello, please don’t judge me too hard on this repair attempt :))
My friend’s PS5 Slim had a broken HDMI port and I stupidly offered to fix it even tho I have no experience with this sort of thing other than soldering a few times.
I managed to remove the old port and solder the new one on. I did have to touch up one of the legs with extra solder because it wasn’t making good contact.
After watching more repair videos and looking back at my photos, I’m now thinking the HDMI pins themselves might need more solder/reflowing???
The console powers on with solid white light, no HMDI is detected and the console gives 3 beeps
I mainly want to know if anything looks obviously damaged? traces etc or is it bad pin contact?
