Does anyone else have disdain for holidays that are always on weekends (bonus if they're on Sundays)?

First time poster hoping to find people who relate - I often find I have a hard time complaining to people about this during small talk, as if other people don't experience this same phenomena.

Whenever there are holidays that are on weekends, especially Sundays (thinking of Mother's day since it was recently, but also Father's day, etc.), I am just thrown off and completely exhausted for the rest of the week. I think these holidays are important to recognize, but as someone who really depends on recouping during the weekend, not having that time that I usually have to mentally reset is so hard.

Even if the celebrations don't take up the whole day, I am too physically exhausted to unwind as I normally would. When I go back to work on Monday, I feel completely worn out and irritable, and have a lot of trouble focusing.

There's a phenomena where sometimes people will stay up late to make up for time they weren't able to claim as their own due to work or other circumstances. I feel like I have this extending into the actual week.

I wish societally we'd get the Monday after Sunday holidays off. I don't understand how anyone can get back to work feeling refreshed/ready when the previous day had so much emotional and social labor, although I understand that people who aren't as introverted won't have as difficult of a time with this labor (or even see it as labor at all.)

An obvious solution would be to abstain from these holidays or cut celebrations short in order to allow more time to get back to feeling normal, but I also still think they're important for recognition and don't want to be left out of family events just because I have a hard time handling them. It's difficult to explain because the answer seems so simple, but I don't want to look back and have regrets about not being at these events and showing up for the people I care for just because I have a hard time in the actual moment.

I hope this makes sense.
