This story isn't mine, a friend asked me to post it for him.

We (Junior year theatre students) were working on a scene in theater and it was due the next class, so I wrote an entire script for it. I really liked the way I wrote it and it was very important to me, but right from the start this one guy didn't like it, and I even switched some of the roles around because he suddenly wanted a different role.

I'll admit that I dismissed some of his concerns about it, but I did explain why I wanted some of those things in the script. Then we got an unexpected extension on the assignment so we were all happy because there was more time to practice! But just twenty minutes before the assignment is due, he just sends in another script out of nowhere (the extension was for two days) and I'll admit it could have been a good script if it was more polished, but then he dismissed me when I pointed out that a few things wouldn't work, and insulted my script to my face.

He then said no offense, like that makes it all better. So we do the scene and it's kinda messy- bear in mind that this is a final project. And everyone doesn't know what to do because we haven't practiced at all (off topic but they also broke my fucking balloon dog) and I get that no one else is upset about this, but it still hurt my feelings so would I be an asshole if I told him I don't want to work with him anymore in theatre class?
