Drew’s Logger vs Frank patriot

Pretty straightforward, need a work boot and want a pair from nicks/whites/Jks but don’t have $6-700 lol. Leaves me 2 options. Drews logger or franks patriot, both under $400. I need a pair of boots to climb a ladder 3-10 times a day, walk upwards of 3 miles on grass lawns or in the woods multiple times a week, and various “homesteader” activities on the weekend. I’ve done a lot of research between them and sorta stumped. Patriot doesn’t have a pull loop and uses a lower quality section of the hide. Drew’s makes an American/pnw style/creation/invention in Mexico so there’s weird feelings there and some say there’s some unknown quality standards. So what’s the deal/verdict? Anyone have both and love one and hate the other? I certainly like that Frank and his family has been doing this awhile and it’s a small business, but having wider feet means I kinda like the idea of the modified 55 last. Too hard of a decision for me to make!

Loggers vs Iron Ranger

Needing a new pair of boots and can’t decide between the 2. I’ll need the boots to walk around homes, climb ladders, and talk to home owners inside their home for my day job. Light hiking, 1-3 miles on an easy/moderate trail a few times a week, and for “homesteading” type activities like running my tractor, digging holes, cutting trees etc etc.

I’ve loved and wanted a pair of PNW logger boots for a super long time but never got the $600 to buy a pair. Last week I stopped by my local redwing store and tried on a pair of iron rangers and they felt/looked nice. Never tried on a pair of loggers before but I think they look cool. Anyone have any input as to which I’d like better the heritage loggers or the iron rangers more? The obvious answer is own both, but unless someone is willing to help out i don’t think I can swing 2 pairs 😂.
