Asus booting problems
Hello,
I recently added a ssd (Lexar SSD THOR PRO 1tb; type nvme) on my asus tuf gaming (FX505GT).
I cloned what was previously on my HDD on the SSD and erased the partitions on my hdd to make a storage out of it. It worked fine for a few weeks and got my pc to be really fast (compared to before).
Today when i opened it, it sent me to WiRe. I tried fixing the issue (with the help of some AI because i know next to nothing to computers). Following certain steps (which I don’t exactly remember but it was through the command invite) I tried fixing the booting problem which seemed like it did. Now when i open it, it goes directly to the BIOS.
The SSD still works and seems to be recognized by the pc (in the BIOS the SSD is shown in the "storage" part). It does not show in the boot priority like before though. It does not show in the "nvme configuration " either.
My next move is to reinstall windows (11) through a USB stick. Doing this will make me lose all of my data i believe (some is from school and is important to me). I’d rather not lose it and hope there is another way to actually repair my pc. Although i’d very much rather lose my data than my pc as a whole.
Can someone help me with my problem? Is it fixable?
Thank you for reading!
Edit: It might be important to add that I can not enter into WinRe mode through the forced shutdown (three times) method nor through the holding or spamming F9 or F12.
