Life Cereal Pitch

I’m rewatching Mad Men after a decade & just watched this episode in season 4 and don’t remember anything from the show.

“How bout…Life is just a bowl of life cereal” is the hardest I’ve laughed. Rewinded it a few times and kept cracking up.

One of my favorite pitches in the series so far. The entire presentation is gold

I’ve never seen the original Top Gun. I saw this movie for the first time a few months ago on a small TV with no surround sound. I loved it so much I watched 5-10x the length of the movie in YouTube clips after. I recently rewatched it on a bigger TV and thoroughly enjoyed it despite knowing what would happen.

This movie is one of the most rewatchable movies I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a lot of movies. The acting is great, but the cinematography and especially, the soundtrack/sound effects makes it incredible. The dark star scene, the G LOC, bird strike, the test run proving the mission can be done, the bell tolls, when they run the actual mission. The third act is perfect.

I wish I got to see this movie in IMAX (I’m abroad right now until the 18th, and I understand they’re doing a re-release).

Some of my favorite movies growing up that I rewatched every time on TV and after streaming came out are Oceans 11, National Treasure, Taken, The Dark Knight, Fight Club, Saving Private Ryan, and movies like Pineapple Express, Superbad, The Hangover.

TGM is a different type of movie compared to most of those but after my first watch it became an instant classic. I absolutely love the movie and wasn’t bored for a second.

Hans Zimmer sends it over the top. He killed it in Inception, The Dark Knight, and Interstellar.

Just wanted to share my appreciation for this masterpiece of a movie and experience. I hope the third movie is even better than this one!

Hey everyone, looking to buy some Zyn in Bangkok. I did some research and saw that people on Reddit Tops sells them, took a Grab last night to one and they didn’t have it.

Also came across Khaosan Snooze, which delivers, but it’s 300b per can. Is this a normal price? In Cambodia it was $3-4 per can.

I’m nowhere near the city center, staying near BKK airport right now.

Thanks in advance to anyone that helps!

I started watching Banshee a week ago & finished today. I thought it was cheesy and almost stopped after 2 episodes…until the fight with the MMA guy. Then I was really intrigued.

This show has amazing action, the 3rd season was my favorite. I love how they manage to pack episodes with so much: action, sex, plot progression, dialogue.

Job is one of my favorite characters of all time. He is so multi dimensional and a beast all around. “Suck my tit” made me crack up.
