Immediate questions I feel like people are going to have are "how does it compare to the FlatRock", which Traeger has in their FAQ's:

"Flatrock is Traeger's most advanced griddle offering, with an innovative cleaning system, separated cooking zones, fuel sensors, and more. Irontop, the newest griddle in the Traeger line up, is designed for simplicity. Both products have excellent reliability, a variety of sizes, and a rust-resistant cooktop coating to make any breakfast feast epic. "

$499 for the 2 burner, $599 for the 4 burner. Around $300-$400 cheaper than the Flatrock equivalent.

Long story short, I plan to export this file and 3d print the file face down on the print bed so it's nice and smooth accross the entire surface. I've done this before for coasters and typically what I do is:

  • Create the coaster template
  • Import SVG of image I want, size it to the size that I want, lock in the SVG
  • Extrude the parts of the SVG I want as one color and save as a new component, and rename the component as the color I want (like I did in my screenshot for "Black" for all the bodies which are the letters)
  • Double back in the timeline to when the SVG was first locked in and extrude the area around the SVG without issue to the same height as the previous step.

Everything is one surface with individual, non-overlapping parts that print perfectly.

Unlike normal where I use a SVG, I'm using the "Create Text" tool baked into Fusion. I'm able to create the text that I want, but when I double back into the timeline, when I go to extrude, it's trying to extrude the entire surface including the area that is the text I created. So when I do extrude and export, in my 3d print slicer it thinks it's just one solid surface with no text.

How do I go about fixing this?
