I started these presprouting these (20 corms) in February and once they sprouted, I kept them under the growlights for a month or so until it was safe to go out. We had a late snow this year, so that was unfortunately late-March. They have done well and taken off with the cool Spring weather, but unfortunately someone flipped a switch last week and summer came overnight. They are now in a spot to get early morning sun, shade in the hottest part of the day and evening sunset sun which I have noticed they have thrived in, but I am afraid it is too hot for blooms. Is there anything I can do or has almost a week of heat already done damage??

I am growing dahlias for the first time this year and I have a few different varieties I am starting with: Creamy, Peaches N’ Cream, Coralie, Appleblossom and Labella Medio White. I know you can grow them in the ground, in beds or pots and I was really hoping to try them in pots (dw I know they get tall so I will stake to support them). I am just wondering what size pot you recommend for dahlias? I am probably going to stick to a pot per plant as I only have 7 to start, so whatever size would fit single plants best?

Right now I have some pots that are 20L (35cm in diameter and 32cm deep), but I can just use them for my other flowers and go with a bigger size if that would be too small (I know they can get really tall).

I (24F) stumbled across this subreddit while looking into my chronic acid reflux issues I have had since my pregnancy over two years ago. It was rough and I had HG so was throwing up multiple times a day the entire pregnancy. Towards the end, I developed terrible acid reflux and expected it to go away afterwards, but it never did. I went to my doctor at a year postpartum and he told me that breastfeeding can cause acid reflux due to the hormones. However, now 6 months after weaning - it is still a daily issue effecting me often.

I am absolutely terrified that I have caused serious damage from HG during pregnancy or have something seriously wrong with me. My doctor has sent me for basic bloodwork and it has all come back normal. Has anyone dealt with acid reflux for this long and has anyone had it never end after pregnancy? Are there any connections to HG during pregnancy and chronic acid reflux?
