Staccato XC and Atlas Trigger aggravation
Would love to hear from others with similiar experience as well as their remedy.
I wanted to upgrade from the cheap plastic XC trigger shoe, I have a red dirt in my other 2011 grip but wanted to try something else so grabbed an Atlas medium flat and bow combo to install. I instantly ran into pre travel / over travel adjustment issues before I could even get the trigger to function at all. . Once I got it fully assembled it seemed like the trigger now wasn’t sitting far enough forward. I adjusted pre and post travel but nothing changed I tried adjusting tabs , nope nothing same thing. The grip safety is sticking / binding on the back of the bow effecting the triggers travel. With it assembled it’s like the bow is just too long and hitting the grip safety tabs. The trigger pulls and releases fine but I’m obviously seeing a lot of funky consequences. The GS being off kilt causes hammer follow. I ended up just putting factory xc trigger back in for now. Seems like the atlas adjustments aren’t really doing much either but I assume that’s cause of the tolerance stacking between the trigger bow and grip safety
Anyone have similiar incidents / care to share what worked for you ? My thumb safety’s feel fine, it looks and feels like the grip safety is dragging on the bow causing the resistance
