I'm Peruvian, living in California. Yesterday I talked to my dentist who's super excited to eventually go to Peru. He said he's committed to losing 30 pounds first, then he'll travel.
That sparked a doubt in me. Is the classic Machu Picchu trek creating a blocker for global travelers to fit Peru into their next available vacation slot?
Beyond the dentist, I've met others "waiting until their kids are older," or until they're "physically ready" for Machu Picchu.
If Peru is on your bucket list but you haven't gone yet; or if you've been, and you remember the years before you finally planned the trip, I have a question:
What actually kept you from booking that flight to Peru?
I'm trying to build an understanding of how Peru could better market itself to the world. Your honest answers would help me a lot. Thanks in advance!
