Hey everyone — I am a student at UMN and I’ve been working on a project called NestU for student subleases/housing, and it’s finally in testing now.

The idea came from how messy apartment hunting can get:

• Reddit threads
• Facebook groups
• inconsistent info
• hard to search/filter anything

So I built a simple platform where students can:

• browse subleases by school/city
• filter by lease dates and budget
• post their own listings
• contact landlords more directly

It’s still very early-stage / beta, but the site is now live and I’d genuinely love feedback from other students.

If anyone currently has a sublease listing (or is looking for housing), feel free to test it out:
