I’ve always wondered how people approach seat selection when flying. Some people seem to book as early as possible to get their preferred spot, while others don’t mind waiting and just go with whatever they’re assigned.

Personally, I’ve had mixed experiences sometimes waiting works out fine, and other times I end up stuck somewhere uncomfortable. Curious what everyone else does and if you think it actually makes a big difference in the overall flight experience?
