Ordered an Uber last night and just as it says about 5 minutes before our destination she turns and gets on the highway (I noticed immediately but not enough time for her to not get on) goes south and in total 14 minutes out of the way. On top of being concerned for my personal safety I was worried I would also be charged.
When I got to my destination I rated her three stars and made sure to post on there wrong turns and then I contacted customer chat.
I now have a new charge for about $8 and also toll charges. I already went to the chat agent and they said they would contact me in 6-12 hours by email.
Is there a phone number I can call as well? I should not have to pay $11 dollars extra for her going on the highway (the Uber directions absolutely did not direct her to go on the highway. I have taken this route before in uber with no issue.)
