So after this I left for my parents house for a few days and my in laws and husband assured me that boundaries will be maintained and we will go for marriage counselling but my husband never went and kept on delaying it.
Also, him relaying everything to the MIL continued.
He got irritated over simple things like removing shoes outside the baby's room etc.
In such an incident he called his mom again to act as the mediator and she blasted me saying that I am a gossip monger, never asked them for tea or soup, never come down to attend to guests (Mind you I have a small baby and I stay on the first floor so there is no way I will come to know someone is downstairs. When I pointed that out so she said I have created an environment where she is afraid to say anything), asked for my gold to be put in my locker, etc.
I then decided enough is enough and am leaving today morning to my parents place. I have not told them I won't be coming back, just said I need a small break.
