My house has significantly more rooms than I need and I wanted to rent out my basement. I was wondering if y'all had any advice/stuff to look out for and avoid. Also

I want some Asian sweets, specifically meat or bean pastries. I prefer a Vietnamese bakery, but any will do. Hopefully in Aurora. I tried H mart but I don't like the selection
I sometimes watch this Youtuber who sometimes goes into her cooking. She eats a lot of vegetables and I noticed that her cooking seems.....simple. She usually 1) boils them and eats it with fish sauce, garlic, and sesame oil and seeds or 2) sautés it with garlic and salt. TBH I'm a little skeptical of the claims in the comments that the results are delicious, primarily because my mom cooks veggies in a similar way, and I find them......meh. She also comes a cutlure that isn't flavor averse, so I can't just chalk it up to dull taste buds. On the other hand, she lives in a country where the produce is fresh, local and organic (basically right out of someone's garden) whereas I live in the USA, and I'm wondering if the quality really can do so much heavy lifting that the veggies taste good, despite being so simply prepared.
