Just confused
Hi all,
My LDR of 5 years ended yesterday while visiting each other. It was weird though, we had a plan to be together by the end of this year but he kind of panicked and started doubting his career choices and like didn't know what he wanted anymore.
It was kind of a spiral like "why would you even want to be with me", "this is too hard", "what if i can't provide a good life for you", etc.
I told him maybe he needs some time to figure things out and he said yes and idk it just kind of ended? I don't know I feel like we have a lot more to talk about and I want to tell him that I support him and am happy to pivot. I don't need him to support me.
I'm going to give him some space, but do you think in this kind of situation it would be helpful to have a conversation in a few weeks? Like just take a breath and reassess?
Its not anyone else or anything like that. I understand that this situation has been difficult for him but I don't think it's worth giving up just yet.
