I created a fake profile of a woman and got around 50 crushes and favorites in about an hour. I also deliberately left out a few clues that, if noticed with a reasonable mindset, would easily reveal it was a fake profile. 🥀

Truth be told, many men aren't thinking clearly. Their self-confidence is shattered, and they are acting out of pure desperation. The app’s creators made somewhere between ₹5,000 and ₹10,000 in the past hour alone, purely because of the fake profile I set up. Evidently, every man must pay around ₹47 to send an initial message to any woman's profile. 💀

Let that really hit home...

---

To some men specifically:

When your self-worth is tied to a swipe, you become the product, not the user. The app thrives when you feel insecure. They want you to keep scrolling, keep paying, and keep chasing a digital mirage that isn't built to last.

But once you start building real, face-to-face connections, that feeling of desperation disappears. When you focus on genuine relationships rather than digital attention, you stop needing those hollow, quick fixes to feel good about yourself.

We also need to respect marriage and our culture. India has a rich history and strong values, and we shouldn’t set a bad example that weakens those traditions for ourselves or the people who come after us.

It’s time to stop letting an app decide how much you’re worth. By realizing these platforms are just profiting from your insecurities, you can walk away and start focusing on your own personal growth. Don’t let short-term urges define who you are, reclaim your confidence by making better, more stable choices in your real life.
