Today my boyfriend (34M) pointed out my hairy legs (I am 31F). I really hate shaving because my skin is sensitive and I think that my legs with wounds from razer are less beautiful than when I have a two month length of soft hair (I am blonde and they are not so visible). What hurts me more is that he said it like this "if you want to show your feminist position, at least keep them in order, some other ladies are trimming them, you don't have to shave. When I said I never heard of women trimming their leg hair he said "well I trimmed my pubic hair, it is not itchy. You are just lazy, that's it". After I couldn't find what to say so I just left home and spent my day crying and thinking what this all means. Idk why it triggers me so much, but I feel that he is just not trying to understand who I am. It is fine that his preferences are not matching mine but if I am planning to make a family I want to be with a person who is not grossed by my natural body because I am actually planning to age and rot like an ordinary human being.

Tl;Dr bf pointed out that he doesn't like my body hair and I am concerned it might be a bigger issue in our relationship
