I recently got back into sewing and was so excited to make the Lane Pant and the Syd Tie Dress. The pants were fun, I definitely made some mistakes, but the dress only has one mistake (somehow attached the skirt 1/4” unevenly so my pockets are not perfectly on the sides)….and I can never wear it because it looks like I am awaiting my ticket to the Mayflower! Has anyone else ever made something objectively beautiful and when you put it on, it’s horrendous!?? It looks so good on other people but I’ll just keep it as a souvenir of a weeks worth of work. Thank you to this sewing community because I had to share - and I’m curious what sewing nightmares you may have?
