Hello, I tried searching for my problem on the internet but couldn't find a clear enough answer, so decided to ask here. I have been using this iPod 7th gen for a week, and yesterday, in the middle of listening to music, it died. Black screen, no backlight, can't feel or hear the disc turning inside. I thought the battery might have died, however after leaving it to charge for a day it still hasn't turned on. I also tried holding menu and select buttons, and turning the hold button on and off. My computer doesn't recognise it as well.

What do you think the problem might be? I'm comfortable with doing repairs, but I wanted to ask if anybody knows what's going on before ordering parts. Thank you !!
