My business ran into struggles last year and they've lingered on. The business and I have a combined debt of around £90k. My wife has been offered a zero contract hours job.
Started UC application last month. Got an advanced payment and first payment should be end of May.
Although not official, we'll get around £1000 per month. I really need it to be around £1600 so I can cover our expenses at home. Nothing for rent cover.
We have 3 kids under the age of 10 and we live with my dad. We don't pay rent but cover bills, internet and buy his groceries for him. That's unofficially covers our rent of about £600/month. But it's not a lease, licence or rental agreement just and agreement between a father and son.
My son is autistic (diagnosed) and gets Send help at school.
Is there else we can claim to help us? I've literally never claimed anything but child benefits so this is all new to me.
