Currently I am a teenager who has been handog inside the church. I’ve been here since I can remember and want out!
Not only have a I realized that inc is a cult, but I have also lost all my belief and faith in God. I don’t plan on believing in any deity or anything, just science.
But the main problem is that im way too involved in the church. I’ve already read most advice on how to stay lowkey in the church, but when I read them I’ve already been too involved. 😭😭
I have atleast 3 duties inside the church, and they’re still trying to recruit me for more. As if that won’t take a toll on a teenager, and not to mention my parents are very strict and religious. They’re super committed towards the church it makes me wonder how and why their so brainwashed. (+my other friends inside the church)
which makes it a whole lot harder to get out, especially since they practice shunning. I’ve already decided to wait till I’m older and I’ve already spoken to one of my friends how I felt. Which the good thing is that they agree with me.
So what should I do??
