I need recommendations in the ABO world!

So, I personally find books interesting where the FMC is an omega who is already destined for the alpha, but he's already dating/is with someone else and doesn't care about this "destiny" thing.

The female protagonist knows who her alpha is (it would be cool if it was some guy who's humiliated her since she was little or who's her friend but doesn't feel anything for her).

It would be interesting if she went into heat and he was around trying to help her, literally just helping. While she kind of… because she's in heat and gets out of control around him.

I haven't read many books from this universe, only The Bride from Ali there and I must say;

I liked the fact that the MMC didn't show that he liked the FMC and that he was always controlled around her (in most of this universe, the MMC smells something and immediately loses control 🥲 I want the FMC to be the one who loses control).

I don't want the MMC to be the first to fall in love here, and I wouldn't mind if it were agonizing because the FMC is being rejected by him.

NO REVERSE HAREM!!

So, I'd like recs for books where the heroine dates/marries a guy who doesn't care about her at all and really mistreats her.

The kind where she feels so insecure that she takes her clothes off in front of him and begs for sex (she must be a virgin). She finds him attractive and handsome, but he sees nothing in her.

He may have married her out of necessity without loving her, so I wouldn't mind if, while he doesn't love her, he's with others womens.

When they're together, he doesn't even talk to her or make her feel special because HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT HER AT ALL; she's just another girl he probably hates and was forced to be with. I wouldn't mind if he humiliated her and treated her badly, and while that happens, she becomes increasingly submissive and tries to make him fall in love with her.

I don't care if it's dark or not, or how dark it is. I just want him to mistreat her badly, hurt her psychologically, and for her to blindly beg him to touch her!

So, I'd like books where the heroine is a saint, but she decides to go out and gets drunk, or someone spikes her drink with drugs, and she starts acting kind of out of sorts with the most popular, handsome, or rich guy in school/college, whatever.

What do I mean by that?

There's a scene in Rina Kent book (Cruel King) where the heroine gets drunk, goes to a room to calm down, but gets really hot (🔥) and then sits on the main character's lap and starts rubbing against him.

She must be a nerd, or someone nobody really noticed, because at that moment the guy probably doesn't even care or give a damn (just think she's just another girl trying to get down his pants!).

He doesn't care either, because he can have sex with any girl he wants whenever he wants, so it's not like he's begging for her.

So, lately I've been kind of obsessed with books where the girl is in love with the guy who's her sister's or best friend's boyfriend!

She hides her feelings, and she met him before his girlfriend, but he fell in love with her sister/best friend first.

Of course, I long for them to get together (undeniably), but I could begin for books where he continues dating and loving her sister or best friend, but the tension and build-up is really strong with the protagonist until they realize they belong together (nothing rushed like "I discovered you love me even though I'm dating someone, so I'll stop loving her because now I only have eyes for you").

Book example:

- My darling Arrow by Saffron A. Kent

So, I don't know which trope this would fit into, but here goes.

I'm obsessed with books where they've known each other since childhood or adolescence and the heroine has always been in love with the guy, but always kept it to herself because it might be something forbidden (age gap, taboo, etc.) or she never told him because she was afraid of ruining what they had. It could also be because he's already in love with someone else, or dating his sister, friend, whoever!

I like angst, build-up, and sexual tension. I hate books where everything happens too fast, so I wouldn't mind a well-detailed slow burn with that tension that gives you butterflies in your stomach.

It would also be good if her feelings weren't obvious like she's always denying it and never admitting that she loves him for everyone.

Books I like and imagine when I think about this:

- Until Harry by L.A. Casey

Maybe some spoilers here; I know the book above is friends to lovers, but it has all the angst and slow burn parts. I love that! I don't care if it's taboo, friends to lovers, age gap, or whatever.

So, don't judge me lol, but I love the taboo trope!

I particularly prefer when it involves siblings, half-siblings, or people who were raised together but don't have blood ties, only FM. Could you recommend the BEST ones you've ever read?

I don't really like rushed books, where they fall in love one day and are getting married the next. I like the feeling to be built up, like - for example - the girl has always been in love with her brother, but he hasn't, so she keeps the feeling to herself and it's that anguish and slow burn.

Books I've read and liked:
- Hale by K. Webster
- June First by Jennifer Hartmann

could you recommend some dark books about Stockholm syndrome? I just saw someone talking about it, and I got interested. What are some of the best ones you've read?
