Any previous construction PMs here willing to share success story on transition to cybersecurity PM?

Looking for PM success stories switching from construction over to IT. My PMP is currently in progress. After 10+ years of construction PM experience, I got tired of construction industry and looking all over the web for helpful info on switching over. Anyone care to share their experience and what branch of IT did you end up in? How difficult was it to make the switch?
