Hi everyone,
I have a 6-year-old daughter and I’m hoping to get her started with piano. We’ve tried a few traditional lessons, but she really didn’t enjoy the “sit still and follow instructions” style — she found it boring and had trouble staying engaged.
I’m looking for a piano teacher around the Pasadena area (within about a 30-minute drive) who takes a more playful, creative approach — someone who can incorporate games, exploration, and fun into learning, and really help build a child’s genuine interest in music rather than just drilling techniques.
If you’ve had a great experience with a teacher like this, I’d really appreciate your recommendations. Thank you!
