26M active duty Army getting out soon after 7 years as a wheeled vehicle mechanic. Looking to switch career fields because my body is already feeling the wear from this job.

Been researching MRI programs like National Polytechnic and Gurnick since I plan on moving to the Vegas/Henderson area after I get out. Mainly trying to see if any other vets here have gone through accelerated MRI programs using GI Bill or VR&E and whether it was worth it.

Also curious how hard it was finding a job afterward and whether going straight into MRI was the right move compared to doing X-ray first.

Would appreciate any advice from people who’ve actually done it.
