So after something probably around 20k+ resets I finally got my Shiny Articuno!

Bout a month and a half ago I also landed my Charmander starter so now as I go into my 8th gym and the elite four next, I'm super psyched having more than one legit shiny on my team! First time I've ever shiny hunted on this game before! Charmander definitely took over 10k. Considering doing Moltres after I finish some post game content. Perhaps I'll do Ho-oh and Lugia are extremely tempting as well... This will also be the first time in probably 10+ years that I will be playing with a legendary pokemon of any sort in my party, I avoid them usually, but with this switch release I couldn't resist the hunt.
