Just brought myself a decent size Magnolia Little Gem
Even though it says ‘little’ I am aware
It is from a giant version of its self Grandfloria
I will be planting in a large space on its own, root flare exposed, mulch around (not volcanoes)
My question is …
Can I leave the roots alone and just plant straight into the ground and can I use ericaceous soil?
I read that magnolias don’t like roots being touched. I untangled magnolia roots before but noticed the leaves went light green
Any recommendations?
