I have a question, guys. My back has been hurting for about 2 months now, on and off. Some days it feels fine, and other days it hurts so much I feel like I can’t go to work. I’m wondering how I can request light duty for a while, or maybe take a week or two off to let my back heal.

I haven’t seen a doctor yet because I’m broke and not sure if my insurance would cover it. If anybody knows how to go through this or can guide me, I’d really appreciate it.

I am In union local 25 Boston btw
