Husband and I decided to add more colour to our living room and change up the style to be more warm, mid-century-esque/retro - previously it was pretty neutral (3rd photo is before).
So we recently replaced the carpet with something more colourful and thrifted some gorgeous pieces like a mid century coffee table, a cowhide armchair and a restored old-timey spotlight lamp that we love. I feel like with these changes it’s all slowly coming together.
We want to see if there’s any other finishing touches we can add to make it more cohesive. Any advice on what colours/patterns of cushion and throw blankets we can add to our couch to achieve that warm, mid century/retro vibe? Added a 2nd photo of the wall opposite where we have our tv and entertainment unit which is an ink blue.
