My (42f) husband (43m) have been together for twenty years. So naturally we can get on each others nerves for dumb things. However, I’m sick of my husband telling me I “nag” him too much over driving related things.
We are in the car a lot. My license is expired so he is the driver 98% of the time. I’ll drive in emergency situations. For some reason, he’s convinced that it’s alright to touch his phone if it’s in the holder at eye level. (It’s not always in the holder, I see him) He will let ads run and x them out on a game or will search for songs. While in traffic or at red lights he will text, play the game a little or make a music playlist.
He used to be a little worse until I completely flipped out on him one day. But he still insists on doing these small things.
Am I overreacting by “nagging” him every time he goes to use his phone while driving?
tldr: Husband does quick little things on the phone while driving and I get mad at him. Am I overreacting or has it become the norm to use your phone once in a while?
