I'm super excited to finally share a project I've been wrenching on. It's called Car Guy Simulator.
If you love classic cars, retro arcade pixel art, and the satisfaction of a deep restoration project, this is for you. You start with nothing but a rusted-out shell parked on a public curb. From there, you have to scrape together cash, turn wrenches, and upgrade your workspace from a scrappy tarp carport all the way to a massive pro warehouse.
Here is the core concept...
Find: Scavenge for neglected rides (featuring silhouettes inspired by classics like the F-100, Camaro SS, '57 Bel Air, Mustang, and Corvette).
Build: Fix the rust, swap parts and the car dynamically change through 5 stages of restoration.
Show: Take your build to Cars & Coffee, Local/Regionals, and the massive National Show to earn cash, trophies, and reputation.
A quick tech note for my fellow devs: The entire game was built adhering to a strict single HTML file format. Kinda funky!
