24 weeks pregnant & exhausted. I’m considered “high risk” but have had an overall very healthy pregnancy. My biggest issues are extreme hip/back pain, headaches, and exhaustion. My sleep has been heavily disrupted throughout the night and I’m very uncomfortable.

I’d like to ask to WFH through the rest of my pregnancy - I work a somewhat demanding job in tech and am commuting/in office 3 days a week (~hour commute each way). The commute is rough on my back as are the lights/desks in the office and I’d be much more comfortable in my home office setup.

My job can easily be done remotely (currently remote 2x/week) - HR has said they’ll need to contact my dr before approving remote status before I go out on mat leave. Is this considered a reasonable accommodation for pregnancy? Maybe once I hit the 3rd trimester?
