Water Drop Driver Footwell 1981 Firebird

Hi guys, just reaching out trying to get some advice when I have heavy rainfall and make a very sharp left-hand turn, I get one singular drop of water that hits my foot into the cabin. Any suggestions on where this is coming from? I have taken my car to a glass shop and they have tested the front glass to confirm there’s no leaks. The only other hole within the cabin is through the brake pedal. Any suggestions would be great.

Trade my 1981 Firebird (Rebuilt Transmission) for a S197 Mustang

I’m hella debating a trade right now and need a sanity check.

My car: 1981 Firebird. I’m a Chevy guy at heart, and this has a fully rebuilt engine and trans, but it’s a 3-speed auto and a 305 Small Block with 110,000km (original). It’s got a mismatched door which is basically the charm/only con. It’s my current daily in the Vancouver area.

The trade: 2005 Mustang GT, 5-speed manual, 120k km. Has a Borla exhaust and a strut bar.

The backstory: Trading with an older guy. His wife used to have a Firebird and really wants another one, but she can’t drive the manual Mustang. They’re retiring in a year and just want to make the switch to something she can enjoy.

The struggle: I park outside, and I do a lot of highway driving. I love the classic look of the Bird, but I miss driving a manual so much. Even with a rebuilt motor, dailying a carbed 80s car in the rain is a lot.

Would you trade the "soul" of a classic for a finalized manual V8 that’s actually a reliable daily? Or stick with the Firebird and wrap it/repaint the door?

I’m looking at
- Reliability
- Fun Aspect
- Best Daily Driver out of the Two
- Resell Value

If I could get some help that would be great! Thanks
