In my eyes I was dating this guy since October 2025. In that process alone he has hurt me a lot and I forgave him,gave him multiple chances. Basically I always forgave him. I had my 21st birthday recently and he ruined it. I don’t really know how to go into more details about this. But we did start to talk again. I felt a little happy. My friends suggested that I should ask the what are we question and I actually did on text first which he literally ignored. Later on call I asked that question again only for that to be a question reverted back at me like “what do you think we are” to which I said I asked you that and eventually he said “friend” I didn’t know how to react and my heart tore down in a thousand pieces just by hearing that word alone. I immediately cut the call. I just couldn’t believe my ears.Is this normal to call someone a friend after almost 9 months of dating them or idk being in a situationship or whatever it is . It’s also LDR I forgot to mention it earlier. Any advice is appreciated. This happened 10-12 days ago and I haven’t been feeling okay ever since
