I went to the dentist 6 months ago and was told I had gingivitis. I was shocked and began to take care of everything. I even did the light treatment as well the cleaning at my dentist office. At home, I began to research everything and did everything I could to get rid of it. I flossed every night (I did miss some nights like 5 in total), waterpiked twice a day and brush my teeth. In the beginning, I used a mouth wash for gingivitis.
So at my recent check up, I was told it didn’t progress and that was good news. I was expecting to not have it for some reason and I was disappointed to have it still. I have changed my brushes again and now am changing the floss I used. I did the light treatment again. How can I get rid of it? I don’t know the level I am, my gums don’t bleed anymore. My back did at the office when they worked on them for the cleaning. They hadn’t at home so I didn’t expect them to bleed.
I know I did something right if it didn’t progress, but what am I doing wrong? How can I get rid of it?
The floss I was using was the gurunanda expanding floss and I have been using a soft tooth brush. I changed them recently because I don’t know what is working and what isn’t anymore.
