Hi everyone, I've recently been helping a few friends get into home espresso and have thought of putting together a beginner’s resource to help with some of the most common struggle points. Things like dialling in, understanding variables, and knowing what to adjust when something tastes off as key examples.

I am keen to get some community feedback and thoughts on the following:

1.     What was the hardest/most frustrating concept or skill to get your head around? (one or many things welcome)

2.     What are the things you wish had been explained more clearly to you when you started? Maybe knowing what equipment to buy for example or understanding other fundamentals?

3.     What resources have been the most helpful, if any?

Also keen to hear from anyone who is still in the beginner stage to know what the most confusing and/or hardest part is right now for you.

Any responses appreciated!
