Hi everyone,

I come from a non-IT background and recently started learning ServiceNow because I’m really interested in building a career in this field.

I’ve been learning the basics (like ITSM, Service Catalog, and some scripting), but I’m a bit confused about the right path forward and how to actually break into the industry.

I’d really appreciate guidance on:

How to properly learn ServiceNow from scratch to job-ready level

Which modules I should focus on as a beginner (ITSM, HRSD, etc.)

Whether CSA certification is enough to get shortlisted

How to gain real hands-on experience without a job

How people from non-IT backgrounds successfully got their first ServiceNow role

Also, if you’ve made a similar switch, I’d love to hear your journey and any mistakes to avoid.

Thanks a lot for your time!
