shrunken cutscenes when playing 2x Scale DS injects?

i've noticed that cutscenes for DS games injected with 2x Scale enabled only take up 25% of the screen (top left corner) on either tv or gamepad.

is this unavoidable when using actual wii u hardware? i ask because these 2x scale injects also freeze the console when attempting to close out of them, so maybe they're only intended for use on something like cemu. just curious..

whenever N64 & Virtual Console come up, it's mentioned how games looked and ran better on Wii's VC vs Wii U's (darkness & input lag being the biggest problems with the latter, even though removing the dark filter eventually became possible).

why is it then, i've often wondered, that N64 injects for the Wii VC never became as popular among homebrewers as they are on the Wii U. nowadays, collections of N64 WUPs are easily found online, but WADs of N64 injects for Wii are quite rare.. and those that do exist don't seem to fare as well as their Wii U counterparts. for instance, one of my favorite games - Castlevania 64 - is a graphical glitch fest on the Wii but nearly perfect, as far as i can tell, on Wii U.

i think this goes for tools as well - there seem to be many more injectors available for Wii U. was the Wii VC's N64 emulator, while maybe technically better and more accurate, just less flexible/compatible overall, and more difficult to work with than the Wii U's, so as a result good N64 injects on Wii just weren't that common?
