Aditya Dhar who is currently the most in demand and talked about director of the town after the success of his spy thriller duology Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar the revenge is now looking forward to his future project.

Dhar is rumoured to be working on three scripts, a mythological film (said to be the immortal ashwathama), a historical film based on Chandragupta Maurya and a sports drama.

Meanwhile, Maddock studios are looking for a more capable director as they cannot gamble on such a big budget on Amar Kaushik even though he directed the 2024 industry hit Stree 2, the film worked mostly due to goodwill of the first film as the quality of second film suffered due to the absence of the original writers. Amar still remains director and producer for the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (mhcu).

The claims are further strengthened by Maddock's official twitter page not mentioning Amar Kaushik or rather cropping out his name from the previously released poster.

If industry sources are to be believed, the makers have approached Dhar after the success of the Dhurandhar franchise. Dhar has always been very open about his interest and aspirations for the hindu mythological epics.

His previously shelved project The Immortal Ashwathama with RSVP productions explored the life of Mahabharata character and Dronacharya's son Ashwathama who was cursed to be immortal by Lord Krishna. The film was about to start shooting when RSVP backed out stating budget issues. Jio studios took over, Kaushal was replaced, other actors were approached but the film never saw the day of light.

But his dream of adapting an immortal character's life may come true this time. If not with Ashwathama then with Lord Parshuram.

Mahavatar was announced back in November 2024 and was supposed to release on Christmas this year but has been delayed due to Vicky's commitment for Love and War with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He will only join Mahavatar's prep after its wrap.

I still remember when I transferred schools in 4th standard. The change wasn't easy. You guys were already friends. My experience in the last school wasn't good either. I had never experienced friendship before. Always been an introverted nerd. And then there was you. The goon of the class. Damn the attitude you had, i knew I had to stay away from such kids.

Then the cycle repeated. No friends, zoning out in my own world all the time. Remember I used to talk with trees in games period. And then i don't remember when, we started talking. Then i realised you weren't much different. Even you had no real friends. You were just a harmless ruffian. We weren't best friends at first, we knew each other through a common friend. Then the lockdown started.

You remember our online classes? I still remember you texted, " Bhai kitna bolegi?". And then we started chatting on a regular basis. That's when we become close. COVID ended, we resumed school but the friendship continued. We were inseparable. 7th 8th 9th....oh 9th, how our friendship was on the verge of ending. People write love letters, we wrote hate letters bro. We were emotional fools.

But we stayed. You always stayed, always. In 10th when I left for that camp alone. When I changed cities to study further. When I was depressed after the results. You stayed because real once always stay. Once a month we used to have those kabab roles, those momos after coaching.

And today when we were about to meet after months, you did not come. I was instantly sad. You have always been like this. Extrovert, cool, baddie, you always attracted friends, always popular. It was me who only depended on you.

Weren't we each other's missing jigsaw piece. We balanced each other. You cried on my shoulder sitting in the primary garden. When we used to bunk art class to sit on the swings for hours, singing, yapping. I miss those days. I miss you.
