[Solved, I guess, see edit]

Tried to open a design file, and Fusion kicked me to the 'Your Fusion Trial has Ended' page, meaning I must have accidently been put into a 'free trial' state last time I used it.

Tried to ask support, needed to talk to the AI agent. Suggestion from the AI agent (go to the personal use page and hit download to trigger the personal use mode on my account, even without installing the software) fails to work because that takes me to a 3 part form where I need to enter my email on step one. I have my email in the form (That I use to sign into my autodesk account) and It won't let me continue due to my email being invalid (it's not, though on the back end it may mean the email is already in use, which yes it is, I'm using it).

It bumps me out of being able to speak to an agent and says I can create a ticket. It populates an empty ticket (Why didn't it use the value I wrote when I was put in queue for an agent?) and I try to fill it out.

While trying to fill out the ticket, it says 'marked fields are mandatory', and I put in what I had typed above. After I select the product as fusion, it has some text filled in to version saying I'm not required to select a version, but I am unable to hit 'continue' and submit the ticket I just created in the chat.

I'm not sure how to get my account reinitialized into a 'personal use' account.

EDIT ---

So to 'workaround' the issue, I tried to use gmail's ability to add a + after your email name before @ to make a new 'personal' account and just get the file opened and exported for printing..... That allowed me to get past the 'invalid email' step, download fusion from the personal link. Once I opened up fusion locally, it was still logged into my regular account and the 'Expired Subscribe now' message was gone and it looks like either something else caused my account to get fixed, or fusion is also ignoring the + part of an email address, but the 'invalid/in use' check doesn't. Problem solved, I guess...
