I don’t recognize my wife when she gets drunk
I (29) married my now wife (42) last year.
Tonight, she was drunk which I can always tell. She was hanging out with her homeboy, who we were walking to his car. In the parking garage there was a really drunk and sloppy girl… she kept looking that way, to the point where the drunk girl got really close to her face and she was telling her “ go home and sleep girl” . She was engaging with the girl, and super in her face.
I pulled her away from her shirt, and told her to back off. (My wife) because she was being too friendly.
She then proceeds to follow the drunk girl to try to let her in our apartment complex (mind you she doesn’t know this girl) so I yank her from her shirt very hard and it pulls her body. She shoves me in my chest very hard.
I tell her I’m not gonna hit her and she balls her first up and says I know you won’t because I will hit you back.
Her male friend was watching this whole altercation and agrees, she was wrong for engaging with the drunk girl and being centimeters away from her face.
The shove hurt my chest and at this point I just feel like I’m in a DV relationship.
Everytime she is drunk, she gets very close to other woman’s face and she doesn’t see the problem.
I’m secure in myself, I just find it disrespectful that she gets so close to strangers face and engages, because if I did that with other men/dom woman it would be an issue.
I feel like I need a break, and unsure if this marriage will work.
