My Omen cannot wake up from sleep if I leave it idle for a while, while if I leave it in sleep for a short while it turns back on normally, I'll post the video of it happening, I mention that it is a new model from 2025/2026

I just got a new HP OMEN 16-am0010sl (Intel Core Ultra 7 255H,32 GB Ram, 2 TB ssd ,RTX 5070) and I’m pretty frustrated with the BIOS. My version is F.13 (i think).
The BIOS is basically empty. There is no "Advanced" tab and no way to see or change any hardware settings. I’ve looked through all the menus, but it’s all locked down.
It feels wrong to pay this much for a high-end laptop and have zero control over the firmware. I’m not even looking to do crazy overclocking, I just want to see the options for the hardware I own.
Does anyone know a secret key combination or any trick to unlock the Advanced menu for this specific 2026 model?

Hi everyone! My new OMEN 16 (16-am0010sl) with Core Ultra 7 and RTX 5070 is arriving tomorrow.
It’s the FreeDOS version, so I’ll be doing a clean Windows 11 install.
Any specific advice for a new owner? Things I should check first or specific drivers/software I shouldn't miss? I’m coming from a bad experience with a Lenovo LOQ that died after a week, so I want to make sure I set up this one perfectly.
