What are really good kid video games that an adult can play and enjoy?

Years ago, I played Lego Batman when it was new on the DS. And I told my older brother to play it, but he had already graduated high school at that time and thought of it as a child’s game. He kept pushing it away, eventually played it and loved it. Loves it so much he has replayed it multiple times.

It makes me wonder, now that I’m an adult, are there any other childish games that are actually fun that I’m missing out on? I’m not talking about Mario or Pokemon games, those are timeless games. What are some hidden gems that are meant for kids but any age could enjoy it?

Edit: I have a switch 1, Xbox one, Wii, 2DS, GBA and psvita.

In terms of comic book reading and collecting of course.

I thought I would never read a comic book sitting on the toilet. I thought it was so cliche. Until the urge to go hit me while I was reading, so I thought might as well just take the comic with me to the toilet.

I thought I would never buy a comic book, just because I like the cover art and never read it. I thought that’s such a waste of money and takes up space, but now I have several.

I thought people exaggerated when they said vintage comic books are dialogue heavy. But then I bought dc finest Superman and my first impression when I opened the book was: that’s a lot of words. Which is fine to me, because I read 600 page novels. But just the amount of dialogue in vintage compared to modern, is a night and day difference. They were not exaggerating.
