I traced the bodice from an existing dress, opted for tie instead of spaghetti straps, and did a gathered skirt selvage-to-selvage both front and back, put in side seam pockets, then added this trim that didn't work for a different project.

Fabric is 100% Kona cotton I found at a secondhand store.

I'm not normally one for yellow, but the purple accent makes me love my happy dress
