Hello everybody.

I am currently working on Seiko 7S26 movement and I have run into an isue with the hairspring. The coils are sticking together. I have tried to demagnetise it several times, I have cleaned the balance complete in hexane for couple days and than in Essence of Renata, but nothing works. It is the second time I had this same problem with 7S26. First time a gave up and replaced the balance complete.

I am suspecting that it is not magnetisation. Do you have another tip, with what to clean the hairspring? Is it a common issue with this movement?

I do not want to order a replacement again.¨
