Background: I am a bridal alterations professional, so I can handle this.
My mom’s dress was this shade of ivory satin, and had a giant bow on the back and cute beaded cuffs. My plan is to get this dress, alter it to fit my waist, and change the neckline to fix my chest better (I am thinking sweetheart but feel free to disagree with me). Then I’ll add the bow and wear the cuffs as bracelets.
In my mind, this could be a cutie vintage-inspired look. I am thinking a short veil, pearl accessories, and some ivory kitten heels. I want to wear it for my rehearsal, and I’m aware it’s kind of non-traditional to wear a veil to your rehearsal, but I have a vision. I’m hoping someone out there can help me find some inspo that fits this. I am not sure what to search but I’m not finding anything that’s giving ~vintage, elopement, mini-dress, church-of-Elvis, heart-shaped-cake~
