I know what guitars are ‘best’ is a question that will make forums explode so before I get a flood of ‘it’s personal preference’ responses please understand what I am looking for.

I have never been a phenomenal guitarist, I am a drummer primarily but have always dabbled. And I am left handed….or should I say was.

Last year I was in an accident and it has left me with restricted movement in my right arm, and a touch in my left. I have been rediscovering my drumming ability and getting used to my ‘new body’ and doing ok.

Playing guitar left handed is an absolute no though. My right hand just no longer has the dexterity to work the fretboard. So I have reversed and I am now trying to relearn the guitar right handed.

It’s a head f**k in so many ways but I am starting to get the hang of simple things however both from the injury and the fact that my left hand is not naturally my dominant…I really think finding a guitar with really low action would help a lot.

Right now I have a late 90’s Les Paul Studio that I have loaned from a friend. Back when I could play left handed I had a LP standard so I am used to the guitar to some degree, but also know it’s not the ‘easiest’ to play and can be a little agricultural!!!

Just looking for some genuine help in looking for something that will help my recovery and progression. Any advice would be greatly appreciated gang.

Anyone else watching this nonsense. Spurs look as shite as they have done all season but Villa have just decided to not turn up today.

Obviously it doesn’t matter who ends up 18th, as long as it’s not us, and that seems unlikely now. But the whole EPL wants the ‘Super League’ team to drop right.

Come on Villa, some effort please.

Watching the West Ham loss yesterday (yay), it got me thinking about the character I saw in Summerville while at Leeds and why West Ham are paying the price for it now.

Summerville definitely has some great qualities, but yesterday I saw a player that ‘when the going gets tough’ goes missing, and doesn’t want to give the extra effort.

Summerville always came across as a player that just expects his name in lights. Not a player that will graft. The crop of players we have now feel the complete opposite to that, so I ultimately, I’m glad we got rid.

Discuss!…
