TLDR: So in love with the whole storyline and characters. Highly recommend the show!!
It’s like 5am, but I just had to make a post about Phantom lawyer. I’m not really sure of the sentiment online, but I’m assuming it’s good because that show is nothing short of amazing 🤩 I always skip the intro and outro of a show (manly intro), except for the first episodes, but I haven’t for phantom lawyer.
I was doing my hair this evening and kept on getting distracted and had to rewind, give it my full attention and do my signature shoulder move to the beat. I love it sm!! And the storylines!!! Don’t even get me started; absolute gold from the very first episode with the gangster dad and the singer girl, and the science guy, Na-hyeon’s freaking sister(!!)), the shoe maker man, even the little kid, and now his father. I always told myself “I won’t cry this time!”, just to bawl when we hear their story and during the send off. All the characters are so beautifully done too!
We have our ‘national mother’, Kim Mi-kyung (she’s in every show I swear😆), our pastor (I love his whole storyline/arc, wish he was more present during the cases, but what we have, I find it sooo good), our paralegal (brother-in-law), his elder sister and even his niece, I love them all!! Even Na-Hyeon and that scaredy-cat lawyer that has a big crush on her. And let’s not forget our MVP, Yoo Yeon-seok! I’m actually impressed. To say he’s acing this role is an understatement. I can’t even find the table, did he eat that too? Ugghhh. I can’t stop gushing about this show. If there’s a s2, I’m fully looking forward to it. I’d be so excited!!! I want to do this again. And all because I was bored with nothing to watch after rewatching GFN. I’m so sad it’s ending tomorrow, but if you’re thinking of picking it up, def go ahead. Amazing show!
