WORST first level to a game

Someone did "best" so I'm here to be the Contrarian: what is the WORST first level of a game?

I have 2 suggestions

  1. The original Legend of Zelda.

Look, I love this game, but there is no "first level" it just throws you into this world and says "good luck." Brutal. None of the stuff they do in later Zelda games by forcing you into the training area... just "Hey grab this sword if you want, have fun!"

  1. Superman 64

A bit of a cheat bc the whole game is unplayably bad, but. OOOOF. IYKYK

Honorable Mention:

-KOTOR 1 and 2.

I love these games, they're two of my favorites of all time, but the intro areas are so. damn. long. And neither end up actually mattering all that much. 2 is better (read: shorter) but the rest of the game is SO FIRE these intro areas just don't do it for me.
